That’s the answer to the questions:
“Why should I install parental controls and filters?
How bad can it be?”
When I talk about what I do, helping parents keep kids outta pornography on the Internet, I often get the following responses:
“C’mon, we had porn in our day, and it didn’t hurt us!”
“Aren’t you being a little too protective?”
Now, propriety and Christian concern for not tempting you prevents me from listing the bad, bad, BAD things that are out there. So, here’s an alternative method to convince you how bad the porn on the Internet can be.
Our kids are being fed a cultural lie:
I got a call from a parent who had discovered that one of their son’s female friends had sent a picture of herself partially clothed. They were extremely upset (for good reason) but they were also very worried about the fact that the phone could potentially hold “child pornography”. They were conscientious parents who stumbled across the image while checking up on family cell usage via their provider’s web account.
With all the problems that couples/singles and Society have, as a whole, due to sex and sexuality, we might wonder:
Let’s face it.
