Today (9/28/2010) FOXNEWS reported on an investigation that they conducted on the use of Facebook by pedophiles and pedophile advocacy groups. I STRONGLY recommend that you read this and share it with other parents. While Internet use by pedophiles is well known this article provides insight into what is going on. Parents may find this illuminating on several levels.

This should not be cause for eliminating Facebook use by teens (that’s a completely different topic).
Instead, parents and child advocates should:
- Strongly urge Facebook to no longer support such blatant efforts to harm our children.
- Discuss this with children, in a manner appropriate to their maturity, and raise their awareness of these dangers.
- Stay calm and employ good cyber-parenting principles.
- Let others know!
